Artist Interview

No To Be Served
But To Serve

Not To Be Served But To Serve

Dave, but this doesn't seem to be one
of your catchier titles!  I'm guessing it might have some
special meaning?  Maybe you could tell us what
this music all about?

"This will be a short interview since there's certainly beauty in simplicity! This album was born from the perspective of God coming to Earth, to serve, and the beautiful example that he set for mankind in doing this.  In  Matthew 20:28,  he reveals plainly, yes, He came to serve!

On the album's release date, as we look around the globe, we see a Covid-19 pandemic with all the fear, sickness, hardships, and death that comes with such things.  But, as we look around the United States, we also, and quite fortunately, see lots and lots of people serving others when they could just as easily not.   Our people on the "front lines" embrace strangers, as friends, in a spirit of solemn sacrifice much reminiscent of  John 15:13, the verse that describes the love of laying down one's life for another.   So, what's the album like?  The album is meant to be a tribute and in that sense, something uplifting, strong, peaceful, and full of honor and deep appreciation.

I hope people all over the world can reflect on the meaning of  Not To Be Served But To Serve  and enjoy it not only during times of peace, but also, the tough times and even times of true crisis.
